Styling
Chosen for the concept, not the checklist.
These are the tools MINAZ works with. They are selected according to the design direction for your celebration; not every element is in every project.
Tablescapes
Linen, runners, centrepieces, candles, place cards and menus, composed as one table.
The table is usually where the evening actually happens, so it is where we start. Linens and runners set the ground; centrepieces, candles and small objects give it depth; place cards, menus and napkin details make it personal.
Florals
Fresh, artificial or mixed. Bud vases, centrepieces, ground arrangements and accents around focal areas.
Floral work stays within the styling of the event. Sometimes that is a full centrepiece run; sometimes a few stems in bud vases are the right amount. We are not a large-scale wedding florist and do not present as one.
Focal installations
The one place in the room the eye goes first: cake areas, plinths, arches and decorative installations.
A focal area anchors the space. It can be a cake table, a pair of plinths, an arch or a composed corner, built so it photographs well and so the room reads from the door.
Backdrops
Architectural panels, fabric or florals, sized to the room and to the moment they frame.
Backdrops give a moment a wall to stand in front of. Panels, fabric or florals are chosen for the concept and scaled to the space rather than pulled from a fixed set.
Draping
Soft textile styling for backdrops, tables, focal areas and floors, editorial rather than covering.
Fabric should look placed, not applied. We use it in layers, on tables, behind focal areas and on the floor, when the concept wants softness or a change of surface.
Candle styling
Pillars, tapers, votives and glass cylinders in clusters. Warmth and depth after dark.
Candlelight is part of how MINAZ looks. Clusters of pillars and tapers, votives along a table, cylinders on the floor: they bring the room in close.
Balloon styling
Sculptural, organic and integrated into the design. Present when the concept wants it, absent when it does not.
Balloons are one tool among several. When we use them they are sculptural and asymmetric, in colours drawn from the rest of the design. A dinner may have none; a thirtieth may be built around one installation.
Personalized details
Names, initials, an age, welcome signage, place cards, menus and small printed pieces.
Personalization lives in the details: a name in signage, initials on a menu, place cards in the right hand. It is considered and specific, not unlimited custom design.
MINAZ is a styling and décor studio. We do not provide catering, photography, entertainment or event coordination, and we are not a large-scale wedding florist. Where a project needs one of those, we can point you to people we trust.
